Bernie Wolfe Community School is a K-8 school that is part of River East Transcona School Division in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was named for a former deputy mayor of Winnipeg, and long-time resident of Transcona, Bernie Wolfe. Wolfe also served for several years as a municipal councillor in Winnipeg and was awarded the Order of Canada in 2001 for his community work.
The Mission Gardens area, where the school is located, is of particular historic significance. The land had been ceded to the Catholic Church in 1818 by Lord Selkirk when he visited the Red River Settlement in the interests of his settlers.
The official opening of the school was held on May 25, 1977.
